Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is unknown. Make today meaningful, and life is worthwhile.

2002-03 World Travels

Please travel with us, at least in spirit! You can read the journal and see the photos.

Why did we do this crazy trip? Perhaps the following quote gives a clue:

"By detaching oneself from the routine and familiar surroundings of domestic life, striking out on the way, and submitting to hardship and uncertainty in a foreign land, the pilgrim is thrown into a state of intense introspection, reflection and prayer. The pilgrim progresses over a physical landscape, but it is the spiritual journey that counts. It is the way-less way ’where the Sons of God lose themselves and, at the same time, find themselves'." (Nicholas Shrady, in Sacred Roads)

THE JOURNAL

This journal grew as we gathered experiences, explored new countries and meet new friends. We added new journal entries as often as we could find our way into cyber cafes. You may notice changes in us and our perspectives as the trip progresses.

Originally, this was published on MSN Groups.  Since that site is no longer active, we have transferred it here.

Follow along using the selections to the right.  You can either start at the beginning, or jump in wherever you wish (though some stuff may not make sense without reading the earlier journal entries )

Happy Trails!
